Kevin Humphreys, Executive Chef, Snake River Lodge & Spa, A RockResort

Kevin Humphreys is Executive Chef at Snake River Lodge & Spa, a RockResort.  In this position, he is responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations at the resort, including GameFish restaurant.  Since Chef Humphreys’ addition to the Snake River Lodge & Spa team in March 2001, he has reinvigorated GameFish’s menu, introducing new items such as Oregon Country Beef Filet Mignon, Wapiti and Porcini Dusted Steelhead.  Chef Humphreys finds inspiration for his cuisine from simple products, attempting to draw out the essence of each carefully selected ingredient. His dishes provide a culinary experience that captures the essence of the West.

Chef Humphreys’ culinary career began at The Cloister Hotel in Sea Island, Georgia where he worked under the late Chef Franz Buck as part of an American Culinary Federation accredited apprenticeship.  Since then, Chef Humphrey has honed his skills while serving as Executive Sous Chef for the Grand Teton Lodging Company and Rounds Chef at the Gulfstream Golfclub in Florida.
