Debbie Thompson Spa Director Snake River Lodge Lodge & Spa, A RockResort
Debbie Thompson is the Spa Director for the Avanyu Spa at Snake River Lodge & Spa, a RockResort in Jackson Hole, WY. Ms. Thompson is responsible for setting the leadership and guest experience standards by supervising daily operations at the five-story, 17,000 square-foot luxury Avanyu Spa, as well as developing spa programs and overseeing staff training.
Ms. Thompson joined the Avanyu Spa management team in February 2003 as Spa Manager. A licensed Massage Therapist and Master Esthetician, she brings over 10 years of experience to the spa. Her previous positions include massage therapist and esthetician at the Sanctuary Day Spa in Salt Lake City and Seasons Body Retreat in Park City, Utah, as well as Spa Director at AquaVie Day Spa in Salt Lake City.
The Avanyu Spa is the largest in Wyoming and offers indigenous treatments such as the Spirit of Wyoming, the Avanyu Legend, and the Sweet Earth wrap, which is inspired by the collection of hydrothermal clays and minerals at nearby Yellowstone National Park.
There are seven Avanyu Spas in the RockResorts collection, each exuding the luxury that exemplifies the RockResorts brand. The spas pay homage to their natural surroundings while offering signature services and products that echo the landscape and incorporate indigenous products in creative formats. Avanyu Spa locations include Palm Springs, CA; Islamorada, Florida Keys; Manchester Village, VT; Orcas Island, WA; Jackson Hole, WY; a recently renovated spa at La Posada de Santa Fe Resort in New Mexico; and a new addition to the Avanyu Spa collection at the Lodge & Spa at Cordillera in Edwards, CO.
