In her new position, Ms. Thompson is responsible for setting the leadership and guest experience standards by supervising daily operations at the five-story, 17,000 square-foot luxury spa, as well as developing spa programs and overseeing staff training. “We are thrilled to have Debbie overseeing our indigenous Avanyu Spa,” said Bruce Grosbety, General Manager of Snake River Lodge & Spa. “Since joining the resort in 2003, Debbie has been an active member of our leadership committee, offering creative ideas and dedication to her entire team.” A licensed Massage Therapist and Master Esthetician, Ms. Thompson brings over 10 years of experience to her new position. Her previous positions include massage therapist and esthetician at the Sanctuary Day Spa in Salt Lake City and Seasons Body Retreat in Park City, Utah, as well as Spa Director at AquaVie Day Spa in Salt Lake City.
